King Abdullah Buys The Farm

It doesn’t take a prophet to predict the demise of a 91 year-old man, but I kinda did it anyway on January 13.

Abdullah ibn Abdilazīz was the King of Saudi Arabia from 2005 to 2015. He ascended to the throne on 1 August 2005 upon the death of his half-brother, King Fahd.

That SHOULD say he DESCENDED to the throne, but I’m no grammar Nazi.  <LOL>

A Fox News tweet referred to him as a “strong U.S. ally”.  REALLY?  Are we that screwed up?  Oh yeah, we are.  Petroleum maketh strange bedfellows.

Part of me wants to rejoice but I cannot.  I remember seeing images of Saddam Hussein hanging from the end of a rope and as much as I hated that guy, I did not enjoy the fact that he had more than likely just entered into an eternity of hell.  We never know for certain the eternal destiny of any man, but if Abdullah IS in hell, it’s not something to celebrate and his suffering will now only increase continually for EVER!!!!!!   We can all learn from this.  The truth of an eternity in hell should make all of us shudder.

Things probably won’t change much in the ol’ kingdom, but the world is rapidly changing everywhere else.  Yemen, another “U.S. ally” just saw its government collapse.

Find a Rock to stand on…a shelter from the storm that awaits all who deny or oppose the rich mercy offered to all of us in Jesus Christ.

From my January 13th piece, “Flog The Blogger

All I can see right now is our fantastic President bowing before kings like Saudi’s King Abdullah.  That clown is in poor health and will buy the farm and go before his maker soon.  That will not end well.  He’s about 91 years old now.
